Becoming, Belonging and Falling Back Within

As we journey through life we are becoming over and over again.  We are meant to evolve and change, to heal and grow and then heal and grow some more, becoming more and more “in tune” each time. In tune with our own unique song that we came here to be.

To become our most true self, our deeper essence we must first allow ourselves to be.  To exist, to occupy "unmolested", to take up space inside and of course out.

We often lean forward so much that it's almost as if we tumble outside of our bodies.  When we exist outside ourselves and for others in the majority of our day and life, we begin can become really out of tune, misaligned and even ill. If we listen close we begin to hear the longings for that connection to our own essence, to our own truth, to the space deep inside where the well spring of energy and connection lives.  When we allow ourselves to lean back in we connect.

For many of us who have spent a lot of time outside ourselves, it is incredibly noisy inside, at least at the beginning. All of the energy that was held within that we didn't know how to process begins to awaken and its desire to be seen and released gets loud!  This can freak many of us out and we lean forward and tumble out again, desperate to get out of our skin; feeling too much!

When we stay within and feel the fire, the bubbles, the storms we come to know the rhythm; the rise, we feel , we witness and eventually a shedding occurs.  It takes courage to go inside and be in the storm. Especially in a culture that sells comfort and fear around every corner! In the shedding we are able to reclaim energy, space inside and therefor allow more to enter.  We have more space to connect and we begin to crave this new home we are creating.

The more we be, the greater the space is opening to belong.  To belong to the self, to the world from a new center of gravity.  To experience life from the back, from our essence, from the wisdom that is us.

We find our desire to tumble forward lessens each time, because we now belong to something else; to something deeper, wider and more true. We no longer abandon the self, we belong to the self and we become the most true version of us that we can in that moment.
